Violent Night

Violent Night
After years of spreading Christmas joy and with the naughty list getting longer and longer, Santa has just about had it as he starts his yearly trek. Meanwhile, young Trudy is visiting her grandmother’s estate with her separated parents, Jason and Linda. Santa’s work for the night is just beginning when he realizes he’s in the middle of a hostage situation and must fight in order to survive and save Christmas. Here a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Violent Night”.

· Jason, Linda and Trudy drive up to the guardhouse near the beginning of the movie. Al comes out and is talking to them at the car. They wish Al a Merry Christmas, and he starts to back away from the vehicle. It cuts to a farther, overhead view and Al is in the guardhouse door, waving as they start to drive away.

· Candy Cane attacks the guard wearing a white shirt in the hallway. In the close-up of the guard’s face as he’s lying on the floor, Candy Cane steps over him with her feet on either side of his head. It cuts to an overhead view as he starts to roll over and her feet are on either side of his waist.

· Santa is in the outer building, talking to Trudy over the walkie talkie when he spots the sledgehammer. Trudy asks, “what do you do with naughty ones”, Santa’s hair hangs down, near his face. When she says, “give them their lumps”, his hair is pulled back in a ponytail. He makes the “anuses” comment, and his hair is down again.

· To use someone as an example, Scrooge gets his henchman to crush Jason’s middle finger of his right hand in the nutcracker’s mouth. But a little later, when Scrooge walks into the room and asks where the money is, Jason’s finger is fine.

· Scrooge grabs Linda and demands to know where the money is. In the rear view, when Linda says, “Please don’t”, the circular pendant necklace she’s wearing is on her back. In the front view, when Scrooge yells, “Shut up”, the necklace is on the front of her sweater.
