About the BellaOnline Mystery Books Editor
Edie Dykeman

Mystery Books
Edie Dykeman is an avid reader, writer, and caregiver. She is excited for the opportunity to get to know other mystery fans, and enjoys interacting with readers visiting the Mystery Books site, both in the forum and during chats.

Her reading preferences include mysteries, suspense thrillers, inspirational romances, and westerns. She reviews books for several websites, and is known for losing sleep when buried in a good book.

After becoming hooked on mysteries as a young girl reading the Nancy Drew mystery series, she quickly moved on to John D. McDonald and the Travis McGee series. She later continued with an eclectic array of authors including Agatha Christie, Sue Grafton, Catherine Coulter, Tony Hillerman, and more.

Edie loves to blog on a variety of topics. She has written three inspirational romance novels. Her next challenge is to write the great American mystery novel.

Every article and book review is written from her heart and based on her own personal opinion. Edie receives no pay from BellaOnline nor does any third party pay for the content on this site. This enables the reviewer to write with complete honesty and integrity.

Her goals for this site are to encourage women to take time out of their busy week to read, promote interaction among visitors, make new friends, and participate in open dialogue with those who share an interest in the wonderful world of mystery books.
